Warming temperatures this week. Mostly sunny and minimal rain chances.

It’s quite a refreshing start to this Monday here in the Tennessee Valley. Temperatures started out in the 40s and 50s making for a nice, cool, crisp morning. The sky will remain mostly sunny for the rest of the day, with high temps reaching the upper 70s – lower 80s. If I could describe today’s weather in one word, it would be comfortable! Tonight, the sky will be mostly clear as we remain dry, with low temperatures getting down into the mid to upper 50s. A few rural areas in southern middle Tennessee may be cooler just like this morning, dipping down into the lower 50s tonight.

This week’s weather for the Tennessee Valley and much of the southeast U.S. is going to be very calm and relatively uneventful. Aside from clouds coming and going, sunshine is in our future for the next several days. Enjoy calm weather and get any outdoor work you’ve been putting off done this week!

The main weather story this week is a gradual warm-up we will experience. Cooler to start the week with low to mid 80s today and tomorrow. By Wednesday afternoon, highs will be in the upper 80s and that’s where they will stay through the weekend. Dry conditions stay through the weekend, too!
