Happy Friday! Another day filled with clouds and periods of rain and storms can be expected. However, there will likely be a good chunk of the day where we are just cloudy with only a handful of showers around. Highs today will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s with breezy southwesterly winds around 10-15mph, gusting to 25mph at times. Overnight tonight, more rain and storms are expected with lows in the 50s and lower 60s.

As for the storms coming through during the overnight hours, a couple of the storms could be on the strong side with gusty winds and locally heavy rain. An isolated severe storm cannot be ruled out but the overall severe risk is quite low. There might be enough low-level wind shear in place that an isolated quick spin-up tornado could be possible, but again, that risk is rather low. I would stay weather aware just in case a warning or two might be needed, but we do not anticipate this being a major concern for our area.

Going into your Saturday, we will start off with some lingering showers and clouds. As we go through the day however, we should see some gradual clearing and temperatures in the 60s. On Sunday, we remain dry with highs in the mid to upper 60s.
To start off Thanksgiving week, we will be dry during the day on Monday but overnight into Tuesday we will see more rain and storms track on in. We will have to watch for any strong storm threat but for now, that risk is low. Behind that cold front, much cooler air will filter in with highs on Wednesday in the upper 50s and then on Thanksgiving, we will see highs in the 40s! You will definitely need that jacket going to your Thanksgiving lunches and dinners!

Have a great Friday and weekend!
