Rain and Storms Continue…2-4 Inches of Rain Expected Through Early Next Week…

Happy Thursday! Rain and storms will continue to be the main focus over the next several days which will be impacting any Memorial Day Weekend plans. For today, numerous showers and storms are expected, mainly during the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the upper 70s to 80 degrees. Overnight tonight, more rain and storms will be possible with lows in the 60s.

Going into tomorrow, widespread rain and storms are expected through much of the day. During the afternoon and evening, we do see a slight increase in wind shear which could lead to a strong storm or two. At the moment, we do not anticipated any big severe risk to unfold. Main threats from any stronger storm would be some gusty winds and small hail.

On Saturday, while some showers and storms are expected, there does appear to be a better shot at some good dry periods during the day. This would allow for some outdoor time either by the pool or on the lake. Just be aware that there could be a storm that develops quickly where you’d need to head inside. Sunday will likely have a bit more coverage of showers and storms through the afternoon hours.

More widespread rain and storms are expected on Memorial Day before things get a bit more scattered later in the week. Highs will gradually trend back into the mid 80s as we get into Wednesday.

Have a great Thursday!
