Dry and Warmer Today…Showers and Storms Return for Mother’s Day Weekend…80s Make a Comeback Next Week…

Happy Friday! Expect a very nice day weather wise to round out the workweek with highs in the low to mid 70s under a mostly sunny sky! This evening, if you have any outdoor plans you might need that light jacket as we will drop pretty quickly into the 50s. Overnight lows should bottom out around 50-53 degrees.

Going into Mother’s Day weekend, we will see some dry periods, but there will also be some showers and storms around. Only an isolated shower or storm will be possible tomorrow with highs in the upper 70s. A slightly better shot at some showers and storms are expected on Mother’s Day with highs in the upper 70s to around 80. Don’t cancel any outdoor plans, but just be aware you might have to quickly get inside if you get one of those showers or storms.

Next week, dry weather returns for Monday and Tuesday with slightly cooler temperatures. Our next chance for a few showers or storms will be on Wednesday. Temperatures will continue to warm next week with low 80s expected Wednesday and Thursday. Some mid to upper 80s look possible as we get into Friday and next weekend.

Have a great Friday and Mother’s Day Weekend!
