There is a refreshing crisp to the air on this Monday morning with temperatures much cooler compared to yesterday morning- we’re talking 20-30 degrees cooler! That weekend cold front certainly brought the cooler air as advertised. Today will be quite pleasant with abundant sunshine, and afternoon temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s. You will not see a cloud in the sky until after midnight, ahead of yet another cold front. Tuesday’s front will be less rainy, however a few spotty morning showers cannot be ruled out in North Alabama. Otherwise expect an increase in cloud cover for the first half of the day. This front will send another surge of cool air, as winds shift once again out of the north by the end of Tuesday.

Tuesday morning holds our only rain chance for the remainder of the work week. Temperatures will remain comfortable with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Lows Tuesday and Wednesday night will be quite cold, cooling off into the upper 30s to lower 40s.

Our next good chance at seeing rain and storms again in the Tennessee Valley falls over the weekend, with storm chances both days. It doesn’t look like it will rain the entire weekend, but we are looking at another cold front poised to straddle both days.
