Feeling like fall to start the week. Summer-like temps return soon.

It is a crisp, chilly Monday morning with the sun shining- it could not be a more beautiful fall morning in the Tennessee Valley. This afternoon will be very pleasant with low humidity and comfortable temperatures in the lower 80s. Expect plenty of sunshine with a few clouds from time to time. Tonight, we will maintain a clear sky and temperatures will fall down into the lower 50s for most, with some 40s mixed in, especially in southern middle Tennessee.

Tuesday will be just like today, except just a few degrees warmer by the afternoon, with highs in the mid 80s. Heat cranks up by Wednesday with highs in the upper 80s, but humidity will still be relatively low. Partly cloudy for Wednesday as it is our last rain-free day in the forecast for the rest of the week.

Thursday and Friday both feature isolated thundershower chances, but neither day will be a washout. Otherwise, it’ll be hot and humid once again, with highs in the upper 80s and dew points back close to 70 degrees.

Enjoy the low humidity while it’s here- because come Thursday it will be back to feeling like summertime here in the Tennessee Valley. That’s when rain chances return as well, so thew week is starting off much differently than it will end. Saturday will be the wettest day of the next 7, with showers and storms expected.
