Isn’t it just a glorious day when you wake up to low humidity? It is feeling fantastic all across the Tennessee Valley, and these comfortable conditions will stay through mid-week. Expect a mostly sunny sky this afternoon with highs in the mid 80s. Enjoy the northerly breeze with gusts up to 15mph at times. Lows tonight will get down into the lower 60s, with a few spots getting down into the upper 50s. We will have a clear sky tonight.
Highs will remain in the mid 80s for Tuesday and Wednesday, paired with low humidity. Can you ask for anything better in the middle of August? Expect plenty of sunshine and a few clouds both days. Lows Tuesday and Wednesday night will be QUITE a treat. Upper 50s expected both nights. Give that A/C a much needed break!
Our only rain chance this week is a simple stray shower chance Thursday. Otherwise we stay dry with partial cloud cover. We do start to gradually warm up with humidity returning by the end of the week. Highs this weekend will be back in the lower 90s. Looking ahead, Monday of next week appears to be our next best rain chance. I wish I had better news for the ongoing drought conditions.
