Isolated Showers and Storms Today and Tomorrow…Strong Storms Saturday?

Good Thursday morning! Another very warm day is expected across the area with highs in the middle 80s. A stray shower or storm will be possible, but most places will be dry. This evening, we will continue with warm temperatures early, then overnight we will drop into the lower and middle 60s. Tomorrow, highs will be in the lower and middle 80s. A stray shower or storm will be possible once again.

Going into Saturday, we will see a batch of showers and storms move through, mainly during the evening hours. Some of the storms could be on the stronger side with gusty winds and some small hail. The chance for severe weather is very low, but it is not zero. If we do see a severe storm, it would be for damaging winds or hail. There is hardly any low-level wind shear present for a tornado risk, but we will keep tabs on things in case that changes.

The rain and storms will be out of here by Easter Sunday morning, but you will likely need that jacket on hand on your way to any church services. Temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s during the morning hours, before reaching the lower 60s during the midday and afternoon.

Next week, cooler weather continues Monday before we rebound back into the 70s by Wednesday. No rain chances are on the board for quite some time after this weekends system.

Have a great Thursday!
