Good Friday Morning! Showers and storms are already ongoing this morning as I am typing. Additional showers and storms are expected during the afternoon and into the early evening hours. Some of the storms could be on the strong side with gusty winds and small hail, but an isolated severe storm is not out of the question. We do not expect big severe weather issues today. Skies will remain partly to occasionally mostly cloudy but highs will still manage to reach the upper 80s to around 90. This evening and overnight, some showers and storms will remain possible with lows in the lower 70s.

For your weekend, those rain chances do not go away. Numerous to widespread showers and storms are expected both Saturday and Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Some low 90s could be possible in areas that do not see much if any rain. It will not be a complete washout, however, it would be a good idea to have a backup plan to outdoor activities.

Rain and storm chances continue to remain elevated as we start the first part of July. Widespread rain and storms are anticipated both Monday and Tuesday before becoming more isolated to widely scattered Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s each day so it will be a nice break from all that 90-degree heat!

Have a great Friday and weekend!
