Good Wednesday afternoon! After a very nice day today, we are in store for another pleasant evening tonight with temperatures dropping back down into the upper 50s early on. Then tonight, we will dip down into the upper 40s and lower 50s. A lot warmer than we have been the previous nights.

Heading into tomorrow, things change back to some stormy weather, as we will have scattered showers and storms develop during the afternoon and evening. Some of the storms could be strong to severe with damaging winds and large hail being the main risks. A few instances of very large hail, around ping pong size, will be possible! The tornado risk with this setup is very low, but it’s not zero, so we will have to watch things closely. It is nice to say the tornado risk is very low for once because we have had some rough weather to deal with lately.

Storms should begin to fire up around 2-3pm and track northwest to southeast through the rest of the afternoon and evening. Once we get into the late evening hours (8-9pm), most of the storms should be out of our area with only some lingering showers.

As we head into Friday, some lingering clouds and showers are expected with highs back in the 60s. Much nicer weather is on tap for the weekend with abundant sunshine both Saturday and Sunday with highs in the 60s and 70s!
Have a great Wednesday evening!
