Good morning! It’s Monday and we’ve been dealing with frost and fog, but we will warm up into the lower 60s this afternoon. You’ll still probably need a jacket throughout the day, but at least we will have plenty of sunshine. There is no rain chance on the board for today, and for much of this week. Enjoy plenty of sun on this Monday! Skies tonight will be mostly clear, with lows getting down quite chilly (but not as chilly as this morning) with some patchy for possible again.
High pressure sticks around the Tennessee Valley for much of the week, leaving our weather pattern quite pleasant until a weekend cold front comes along to bring some changes. Until Friday, expect mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the lower 70s. Yes, warmer temps are in the future!
We cruise nicely throughout the week until rain and storms return, scattered in nature Friday afternoon. As that cold front moves through this weekend, scattered rain and storms will be around Saturday as well, with moisture leaving the area by Sunday morning with a few lingering showers. Another shot of cool air will certainly follow!
