Happy Friday! While we won’t be getting rid of our rain and storm chances today, they will be slightly lower this afternoon and evening. Only scattered showers and storms are expected today with highs in the upper 80s and lower 90s. Skies will be partly cloudy. Any storm that does develop could have some very heavy downpours, frequent lightning, and some gusty winds.
This evening, any shower or storm around will fade away as we lose daytime heating, however, an isolated shower will still be possible through the evening. Temperatures will be dropping into the lower 70s for lows which would allow for some patchy fog to develop.

Going into your weekend, we continue with the daily shower and storm chances with roughly a 50/50 shot both Saturday and Sunday. I would not cancel any outdoor plans but as always, have a back up plan in case you end up seeing some rain and storms. No severe weather is anticipated over the weekend. Highs will be in the lower 90s and lows in the lower 70s.

The heat will begin to crank back up as we head into next week with highs in the mid 90s and heat index values between 100-105! Daily rain chances will still be around but nothing overly widespread is anticipated at the moment.

Have a great Friday and weekend!
