Good Thursday! Rain and storms will be tracking on through the area today but the good news is no severe weather is expected. A strong storm or two will be possible with some gusty winds and locally heavy rain. Highs today will be in the 70s for most places. This evening, showers will remain possible but most places will be dry with lows in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Going into Friday, another batch of showers and storms will be possible during the morning/early afternoon hours but then we should have a break in the action during the majority of the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 70s. During the evening and overnight hours, more showers and storms will track on in from the west with the passage of a cold front. Some of these storms could be strong with gusty winds around 30-40mph, but the chances for severe weather is very low.

Over the weekend, we will dry out and be in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees so a nice time to get out and enjoy some nice weather! More rain chances return next week, especially on Tuesday. Right now, Thanksgiving is looking dry and cool with highs in the 50s.

Have a great Thursday!
