Good Thursday morning! After that early batch of rain and storms, we will only be looking at some isolated to widely scattered showers and storms this afternoon and evening. The good news is, because of that morning wave, our highs today should only reach the upper 80s and lower 90s! A nice little break from the mid and upper 90s we’ve seen the past few days. It will still feel a bit hot however with the humidity levels still high. Later tonight, only an isolated shower or storm will be possible, otherwise we are partly cloudy with lows in the lower 70s.

Going into your Friday, more showers and storms are expected, however, the coverage likely won’t be as widespread. Only some scattered activity is currently anticipated. Skies will generally be partly cloudy with highs in the lower 90s.

For the weekend, our rain chances go back up once again with more scattered to numerous showers and storms expected both Saturday and Sunday. It will not be a total washout, but if you have any outdoor plans, I would keep a close eye on the forecast and radar. Don’t cancel those plans yet! With more clouds and showers around, highs will generally be in the upper 80s to near 90.

Rain and storms continue to be the trend going into next week, with highs dropping into the mid and upper 80s. A nice break from the heat, but it comes with those rain chances elevated.

Have a great Thursday!
