Showers and a Few Storms Tomorrow…Rain Chances Continue Through Mother’s Day Weekend

Good Tuesday morning! A very dry and pleasant day is expected on this Tuesday with highs getting into the mid and upper 70s! Clouds will increase later on this afternoon as our next system approaches. However, any rain potential will hold off until the late evening hours. If you have a chance, please get out and enjoy some of this nice weather today!

Going into tonight, those clouds continue to increase and rain should start to move in around 10pm-midnight. Cloudy skies with areas of rain are expected during the overnight period with lows dropping into the 50s to around 60. On Wednesday, there will be periods of showers but the best chance for more widespread rain should be to our south. Currently we only expect a 50/50 shot at showers during the day on Wednesday. Highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

For the remainder of the work week, additional showers and storms are expected, but the coverage should be scattered and not overly widespread. Temperatures will generally remain in the 70s for highs and 50s for lows.

Over Mother’s Day weekend, things do not look to change much. Periods of showers and storms are still expected Saturday through Monday, but the overall coverage is a bit uncertain. Model guidance is currently trying to figure out how the upper air pattern will evolve across the area. That casts some uncertainty in the forecast. That being said, looking at some of the ensemble guidance, there is a good signal for rain chances over the weekend. We will keep fine tuning things as we get closer!

Temperature wise, we still expect 70s for highs and 50s to around 60 for lows. Have a great Tuesday!
