Strong to Severe Storms Possible Late Tomorrow Night into Early Sunday Morning…Fall Weather Returns Next Week!

Happy Friday! Clouds will be increasing across the area today but we are still looking at a good day weather wise! Highs will be in the low to mid 80s once again with a southerly wind around 5-10mph. This evening, dry conditions continue with partly to mostly clear skies. Lows going into tomorrow morning will be in the low to mid 60s, so not as cool as previous nights.

Our main focus turns to our strong to severe storm risk for late tomorrow night and into early Sunday morning. We still anticipate a line of storms to roll on in sometime between 10pm and midnight and then track east through the overnight hours. While we are still dealing with a lower end severe risk, there has been some indications in the model guidance that there could be a little more instability to work with. This wouldn’t drastically increase our severe risk, but it would nudge it up just a tad. The main concern will be strong to damaging winds 45-60mph, but there is enough low-level wind shear that an isolated tornado could be possible.

Keep checking back for the latest and stay weather aware tomorrow night into early Sunday! Have multiple ways to get warnings in case they are needed, especially with this being an overnight risk.

After the front moves through on Sunday, we are looking great for Monday! We will be starting out in the lower 40s across the area, with maybe some upper 30s in the more typical cooler spots! Highs Monday will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s. The Fall weather continues for the rest of the week with most places in the upper 60s for highs on Wednesday!

Have a great Friday and weekend!
