Tennessee Valley Weather Becomes National Weather Network Founding Affiliate

Tennessee Valley Media Group is excited to announce that Tennessee Valley Weather has joined the new National Weather Network as a founding affiliate.  In development for over the past year, the National Weather Network is a collective of digital, social media, and OTT television weather channels from across the United States.  This new national partnership will enable our team to utilize new resources to better tell the story of the nation’s weather, its impact on our region, and hear from trusted meteorologists who have eyes on major weather events as they unfold.

The NWN also serves to validate and certify that member weather channels are operated by properly educated staff who adhere to a high level of professional standards.  It is our hope this process will assist in building confidence by the viewer that the information they’re receiving is as accurate as possible, presented by someone who is credible and trustworthy.

“Pulling the veil back on the National Weather Network is something we’ve all been excitedly waiting to do for some time,” stated Ben Luna, owner and managing meteorologist of Tennessee Valley Weather.  “My team and our colleagues across the country are thrilled to contribute to this endeavor that we hope will better serve our friends and neighbors.”

By joining the NWN as an affiliate, our marketing clients will find opportunities for a vast audience that reaches millions of Americans.  Ad placement that targets specific regions of the country or the entire nation is now possible for our clientele at very competitive rates.

In addition to Tennessee Valley Weather, other founding affiliates include NorCast Weather in New Jersey, East Tennessee Weather in Knoxville, CENLA Weather in Louisiana, Nebraska Weather TV in Hastings, and Weather NorCal in California.  More weather channels are expected to join the network in the coming weeks and months.

“For example, someone who is traveling to Northern California and needs to know what weather to prepare for should visit the Network’s website and jump over to Weather NorCal.  Mike Krueger has been the top meteorologist there for over two decades and knows the region better than anyone else,” stated Luna.  “The same is said for my friends Nick Pittman, Mike Witcher, Tim Jones, and Nick Mikulas in their parts of the country.  These guys are the best at what they do”
