Warming Trend Continues…Mid 70s Expected Saturday…Rain Chances Return Sunday and Into Next Week…

Good Thursday morning! Our warming trend will continue today and into the next few days which is a nice relief from the very cold start to the week. Highs today will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s with some increasing clouds. Winds today will not be as breezy with only a light wind today out of the east-southeast. This evening, temperatures will drop into the 50s by mid evening and then down into the upper 30s to mid 40s overnight tonight.

On Friday, more low to mid 70s are expected for highs with partly to mostly sunny skies. Winds will be out of the south around 5-10mph during the day.

Going into the weekend, we will start off very nice with partly to mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid to possibly upper 70s for some! We will have a cold front moving through on Sunday which could bring a few light showers to the area, but rain chances are only around 20%. Don’t cancel any of those outdoor plans because most will remain dry and pleasant.

Rain chances do continue to increase slightly as we go into next week but there are still some uncertainties in the overall timing and coverage of the showers and storms. There are signs that we could be seeing a stronger system move through during the latter part of next week bringing some heavier rainfall and possibly some storms. It is too early for more details than that, but it is something we will watch.

Temperatures next week should remain in the upper 60s to around 70 for highs and 50s to near 60 for lows.

Have a great Thursday!
