Good Friday morning! Widespread rain and storms are expected today and through your weekend unfortunately. Some of the storms could be on the strong side with gusty winds and small hail, but the overall severe threat over the coming days is very low. Cannot completely rule out a stray severe thunderstorm warning however. Temperatures today and through the weekend should stay roughly in the lower 80s with all the clouds and rain. Lows will generally be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
If you have any Father’s Day plans outdoors, I would highly recommend having a back up plan just in case you encounter some of these storms. The main window for storm activity will be around 11am to 5pm both Saturday and Sunday, but there will likely be some shower or storm activity outside of those times.

For next week, rain and storm chances continue with highs in the mid 80s, and even some upper 80s by the time we hit mid to late week. We will keep a close eye on any severe potential that tries to pop up but for now, we do not see any in the forecast.

Have a great Friday!
