Few rain chances this week. Seasonal temps expected.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We’ve got a few small rain chances to talk about this week. There are no days we expect to be a washout, but at least a stray rain chances remains constant over the next few days. Today, however will stay dry with clouds increasing throughout the afternoon and evening. High temperatures this afternoon will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Lows tonight will get down into the mid 40s, as clouds continue to move in. Tuesday holds just a stray chance for a spotty shower or two, otherwise the day will be mostly dry and mostly cloudy, with highs in the mid 60s.

Tuesday through Thursday the bulk of the moisture and rain will stay to our south, which is why we have small, but existing rain chances for the next few days. Friday’s rain chance will be slightly higher, but right now it just sits at about 20% due to model inconsistency. Hopefully we can bump those rain chances up for Friday, with the cold front moving through. Aside from the small rain chance for the rest of the week, we’ll hold onto a mostly cloudy sky with minimal sunshine.

While we may need to adjust Friday’s rain chance eventually, we’re still not looking at any soaker systems this week. Due to cloud cover, high temps will be fairly consistent, remaining mainly in the mid 60s. Right now, the weekend looks dry, but looking ahead to next week, we may get a good rain before Turkey Day.
