Unsettled weather pattern continues ahead. Storms more widespread today, a bit more spotty Saturday/Monday, Still watching Sunday night for severe threat!

We’re mostly quiet as of the time I’m typing up this discussion early on this Friday morning. We’ve had a few spotty showers develop on radar back over northeast Mississippi. I’ll be showing you a “Futurecast” in a moment that has storms waiting until later this morning before developing. I can’t completely guarantee things will

Five people were killed in the town of Greenfield, Iowa and dozens more were left injured following a significant tornado outbreak in the Midwest on Tuesday – and scientists are sifting through metaphorical tons of data following several close-range intercepts by chaser teams and mobile doppler radars alike to try and discern features yet unseen

Off and on active storms today through the Memorial Day weekend. Watching a more elevated severe storm threat for Sunday PM.

We are temporarily quiet across the Tennessee Valley early on this Thursday morning. Enjoy it while it lasts! Thunderstorms coming out of the Arklatex to Arklamiss area overnight have fizzled (as expected) on their approach to east Mississippi and west Alabama. Spotty thunderstorms closer to the stalled frontal boundary are currently staying north of our

Active weather pattern ahead. Shower & t’storm chances next several days. Severe storm risk increasing for Sunday.

The ridge of high pressure in the upper-levels strengthens overhead, and that means we’ll see less in the way of cloud cover than Monday and we also shouldn’t see any stray showers for today. High temps will be a couple degrees warmer

Nice start to the week. Unsettled and stormy pattern arrives soon.

I hope everybody had a wonderful weekend across the Tennessee Valley! It’s graduation season, and I know a lot of you have been dodging rain and storms, but hey, that’s summertime in the South! While this afternoon we have the slightest, smallest chance for a pop-up storm, I think most of us will stay dry.

Sunshine and warm temperatures the next few days. Rain and storms return later in the week.

Sunny, beautiful weather continues across the Tennessee Valley for this Monday. We do expect a few clouds in the sky, but much more blue than cloud cover. Daytime highs will be seasonably warm again with temps topping out in the mid to upper 80s. Overnight lows tonight under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies get
