After a chilly start to today with morning lows across the entire area down into the lower 20s and upper 10s, we, fortunately, will stay above freezing overnight tonight. A breezy southwest wind of 15 mph that will gust as high as 20 to 30 mph at times will keep the lower atmosphere mixed… in addition to bringing in milder air from the south. As a result, overnight lows will only be in the mid to upper 30s. Mostly sunny skies will be around for Wednesday, and with the breezy southwest wind continuing, that means temps continue to warm. We’ll be in the mid 60s by the afternoon! Winds do calm down tomorrow night, and while we look to only drop into the upper 30s and lower 40s, those calming winds may allow for some patchy dense fog overnight Wednesday night.

Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies continue all the way through Saturday, and temps will continue to warm. By the end of the week and the weekend, we will be in the low to mid 70s for afternoon highs with overnight lows back to the upper 40s and lower 50s (where we were for highs today!)… By Sunday, a passing weak front may bring a few showers to the area, especially the first half of the day. Widespread rain isn’t expected. Showers may continue off and on Monday into Tuesday, but there is significant disagreement on the details in the models, and we will need to sort out those details before we bump up rain chances!
