Good Thursday morning! After a round of showers and storms early today, we will gradually begin to lose the cloud cover. Highs should reach the lower to middle 60s today with breezy winds at times. During the afternoon and evening, a stray storm or two could impact parts of Northern Alabama, while Southern Tennessee remains dry. Some small hail and gusty winds could accompany any storms that do develop, but the severe weather threat is rather low. All rain and storm activity should be clear of the area by the overnight hours.

Going into tomorrow and the weekend, things are looking great! Skies will be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the 60s tomorrow, but then we will reach the low to mid 70s over the weekend! Get out and enjoy the great weather!

As we head into the first full week of March, things will remain rather warm. Highs are expected to remain in the 70s with a few showers. There are some model discrepancies for Monday, with the GFS keeping us in the 40s while the Euro has us in the 70s. Something we will keep an eye on, but for now, we are leaning towards the more reliable European model guidance.

Have a great Thursday!
