Good Friday morning! We will be watching the radar closely today as we anticipate the chance at a few strong to severe storms. Main concern will be from damaging winds, although some hail up to quarter size and isolated flooding will also be possible. Tornado threat today is very very low but not completely zero. Outside from the storms, temperatures today will be quite warm! Highs are expected to reach the upper 80s to around 90 and with dew points climbing into the upper 60s and lower 70s, it will feel like the mid 90s.
Our storm threat today should begin around 1-2pm as the storms will start to develop around that time. Our main focus however is the chance at a line of storms coming through during the late evening hours (9pm-12am). That is when our best shot at seeing some gusty to damaging winds around 50-60mph.

Tomorrow, we expect another shot at strong to severe storms with the same risks (damaging winds, hail, isolated flooding). The tornado threat will still be very very low but not zero. Storms could begin to roll in as early as 10-11am but the main window appears to be after 12pm and lasting into the afternoon hours. Temperatures tomorrow will be on the cooler side with lower 80s expected.

Going into Sunday, we will continue to see the chance at some showers and storms during the day, possibly evening during both the morning and afternoon hours. A strong storm or two will still be possible but it appears the overall severe risk will be lower across our area.
Rain and storm chances will continue into next week however, there are some questions on how widespread the coverage could get so for now, we are keeping the chance of rain on the near and below 50%. Temperatures will continue to stay slightly below average with highs in the lower 80s.

Have a fantastic Friday and stay weather aware today and over the weekend!
