Good Thursday morning! We will continue to see showers and storms today but the overall amount of coverage will be a little less today than compared to the past couple of days. Skies will be partly cloudy with highs in the lower 90s. Tonight, we will see the clouds stick around with some fog developing and lows down in the lower 70s.
Going into Friday, more showers and storms are expected with even less coverage and highs back into the lower 90s.
For the weekend and into next week, we will see very limited rain chances which will lead to high temperatures going up. We expect highs in the low to mid 90s Saturday and then mostly mid 90s on Sunday.
The heat will continue to build in next week with highs into the upper 90s across Northern Alabama and cannot completely ruled out temperatures flirting with that 100 degree mark! With dew points in the upper 60s and lower 70s, heat index values will be in the 100-107 range most likely.
