Mostly clear skies stick around through the evening, but clouds increase a little bit overnight. With a light southerly wind, we will be milder than the past few nights, with overnight lows in the mid to upper 50s. As we head into Wednesday, mostly sunny skies and a westerly wind will allow most of us to climb into the low to mid 80s, with only a few communities still hanging back in the upper 70s. However, this will be ahead of a weak frontal system diving down. It won’t have much moisture at all to work with, but we can’t rule out a stray shower in the afternoon, especially closer to the I-65 corridor and eastward. By the evening and overnight, we are back to mostly clear skies, with overnight lows in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

As we head through the rest of the week, we are a couple of degrees cooler on Thursday with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 70s. We start really rebounding temperatures from Friday into the weekend though as an upper-level ridge builds over the South. This allows temperatures to climb into the upper 80s and lower 90s from the weekend into early next week with only tiny rain chances each day. That upper-level ridge starts to weaken by Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, and as it does, temperatures will lower slightly, and the chance of showers and thunderstorms will climb.
